Telehelth - Increase your independance while only talking over the phone. Face to Face - Typically providing the best results, our helpful staff will come to you! Direct contact - One-on-one sessions with the participant and clinician. Directly working together to build obtainable goals and overcoming potential risks to aim for a Good Life. Distance Mentorship - Non frequent appointments to check in with the participant via telehealth to provide reinforcement and positive encouragement to support with different interpersonal issues or quality of life. Groups or Couples - We can provide selected services in a group setting.

Recommendation & Assessment Letters

Inclusive of outcomes, recommendations and functional assessments:
Development and provision of letters to health professionals (psychologist, psychiatrist, occupational therapist etc), Doctors / Allied Health, The NDIS for new plans and review meetings, Justice, or Court recommendations (VCAT, Lawyers, Disability Justice Support, Relink Coordinators etc).
Development of specific protocols or tools such as SCAP (Safety Community Access Plan) or SHRP (Self Harm Reaction Protocol).
Specific provisioned letters for the Justice systems respectfully including of therapeutic plans.Utilisation of the RNR (Risk Need Responsivity Model) and the Good Lives Model of Behaviour Change in offenders.

Offender Dischange Support

Offender discharge support is one of the many services we receive praise for at Interacting Minds. Our helpful staff provide you with the best services to help you in your next chapter, no matter where you want to go.
Support engaging in services in the community including behaviour change motivation.
Our experienced practitioners will support prosocial life planning & guidance for motivation.

Mentoring / Peer / Justice Mentor

Supporting the participant to directly improve their overall well-being and performance, through one-on-one sessions to work towards what you need from life. This is the main goal of this service. Similar to Offender discharge support, this takes on a longer term of engagement from the participant, to create a better relationship and help you achieve your long term goals while still being able to check in with your practitioner from time to time.
Providing ongoing support to an individual to promote positive engagements throughout all domains of life while helping to mitigate risks.
Focus on individual’s motivation levels, ability to make change and confidence to do so.
Helping the individual set goals, and providing valuable support to train and develop internal skills to move in the right direction and stay on target while feeling supported to do so.
